The areas around Ventura offer a bounty of wonderful day trip options including the beautiful Heritage Valley where you will find the California Oil Museum, scenic drives and verdant green fields.  Ojai is nestled in the foothills of the Los Padres National Forest and offers local wineries, spas and golf in addition to access to miles of trails for hiking.  The north cost of Ventura is known for some of the best surfing in the world, while famous Malibu and Santa Barbara lie just up or down the coast from Ventura.
